“I will be on TV channel SA Got Talent” says energetic Emma.

The UK own version of Got Talent comes to SA for its second season. The competition has been adopted in over 30 countries worldwide. S.A Got talent auditions are being held all over South Africa in search of South Africa’s home-grown talent. Contestants have lined up in the Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town auditions held last week.
CEO and Executive producer, Duncan Irvine is pleased to announce this year’s SA Got talent and says more people have come to the audition venue in search of greener pastures. “Everybody that has got talent I encourage them to keep working on their talent” said Duncan during Port Elizabeth auditions. The Auditioning venue is separated into Music, Dance and Variety. Contestants are treated like super stars once they step in, the auditions are privately held and no footage is allowed inside the venue.
Port Elizabeth auditions saw thousands enthused young and old talented contestants including singers, dancers, magicians and comedians who traveled for over 500 kilometers. Five year old Emma Louise Van Wyk (pictured above) who lives at the farm on the Cape Route was amongst Port Elizabeth contestants. Independent young Emma, making it to the next level is her wish; she started singing at the age of three and plays piano. Her beautiful angelic voice has made her to receive two Gold and Bronze on last year’s SA Championship held in Johannesburg. “I will be on TV channel SA Got Talent” says energetic Emma.
The contestants will battle against 250,000 ZAR. Last year’s winner a deaf person Hip Hopper- Darren Rajbal is excited to see the second coming of the show. Last year’s judges included Shado Twala, Randall Abrahams and Ian Von Memerty hosted by Rob Van Vuuren and Anele Mdoda. They will be doing their comeback SA’s Got Talent Season 2 on SABC2 Thursday 16 September 2010.
