Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has commended the Saudi Arabia Kingdom for investing in the country and financing several development projects.
Musyoka singled out the Thika-Garissa and Sudan-Kakuma roads as some of the projects financed by the Kingdom.
He commended the cordial relations existing between the two countries and called on the Saudi people to invest more in the country as the environment is conducive for business.
The Vice President was speaking on Tuesday at his offices in Nairobi when he received the incoming Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Kenya, Mr. Ghorm Said Malhan who had paid him a courtesy call.
Musyoka said the country had a lot of potential for direct foreign investment and urged the Saudi’s to take advantage of the same.
Malhan said his country appreciates the cordial relations existing between the two countries and will still need Kenya’s support and experience in various fields.
He said his country is looking forward to engaging in large scale investments in the agricultural and livestock sector in the country and will continue partnering with Kenya’s business community.
